Supervision to be conducted in a regular, comprehensive, and public manner

WP - On January 15, comrades Ho Thanh Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Huynh Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Nguyen Thi Thu Van, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee jointly chaired the Conference on reviewing the inspection and supervision in 2020. Implementing the objectives and tasks of the inspection and supervision in 2020, the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Inspection Committee at all levels under the province actively advised the Party Committee to well implement the inspection and supervision program; in particular, advising the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, inspecting the implementation of resolutions and directives in two stages; and investigating and supervising 17 Party organizations and 27 party members. The Provincial committees at all levels monitored more than 2,000 Party organizations and more than 15,000 party members. The Inspection Committee at all levels inspected more than 1 thousand Party organizations and 32 members; and supervised 261 Party organizations and 341 members. The total number of party members under discipline is 430 cases, accounting for 0.50% of the total number of party members in the province, a decrease of 0.03% compared to 2019. The Party committees and inspection committees at all levels also reviewed and completely resolved 100% of denunciations and complaints under their jurisdiction, especially those related to human resources and delegates at the Party Congress at all levels.

At the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son said that the inspection and supervision in 2020 contributed to successfully completing the common political tasks of the Provincial Party Committee; including the successful organization of the Party Congress at all levels. In 2021, all levels of the Party committees, Party organizations and inspection committees at all levels need to strictly grasp the resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels; and the new regulations after the XIII Congress of the Party on inspection and supervision; thereby, to highly raise awareness of the position, role and importance of supervision. At the same time, it is necessary to make programs and plans for inspection and supervision suitable to the political situation of their units and organize the implementation of the Party's Charter; enhance a role of self-inspection of the Party committee and Party organizations. Furthermore, it is important to focus on and intensify inspection and supervision of the observance of the Party's resolutions and directives, and the Party's principles of organization; preservation of internal solidarity, staff work and implementation of political tasks of state agencies; placement of responsibilities on the heads; regulations on example setting, prevention and fight against corruption; land management; capital construction, etc.

Simultaneously, it is necessary to strengthen the inspection and supervision and timely settle denunciations and complaints against Party organizations and members related to personnel work in the election of deputies to the XV National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.

The inspection and supervision shall be conducted in a regular, synchronous, comprehensive, open, democratic and prudent manner; in which warning and prevention are key, according to the motto "take initiative, fight, educate, and create efficiency". It is required to coordinate with relevant units to well implement the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement; consolidate and improve quality of the inspecting staff to meet the requirements, be self-determined and firmly grasp the Party's mechanisms and policies, and the Party and State's regulations and rules; and build up ethics, enthusiasm and responsibility for profession.
