According to the People's Committee of Cam My District, currently, the district is coordinating with relevant departments and units to develop a plan to convert Dong Nai High-Biotechnology Park into Dong Nai Hi-Tech Park, and expand the area by 250ha. Thus, Dong Nai High-Biotechnology Park, after further expansion, will have an area of 500ha. Cam My District has updated its land-use plan for the period of 2021-2030.
It is expected that, after the conversion, Dong Nai Hi-tech Park it will attract a number of businesses to invest in aircraft maintenance and repair areas for Long Thanh International Airport. Recently, a business proposed to invest in this field in Cam My District.
According to Mr. Ho Van Ha, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, the Dong Nai Hi-Biotechnology Park project is very suitable for converting into Dong Nai Hi-Tech Park so that it can be planned into an export processing zone for Long Thanh International Airport.
