(News Portal – Dong Nai) - A delegation from the Zhongshan City Government, Guangdong Province, China, recently visited and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on establishing friendly cooperation relations with the Long Thanh District People's Committee.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Long Thanh District People's Committee Le Van Tiep provided an overview of the local socio-economic development. He emphasized the potential arising from the construction of the Long Thanh International Airport; and the formation of road, rail connections, river ports, and industrial parks, which will offer numerous advantages for investors from China.
The delegation from Zhongshan City highly appreciated the development potential of Long Thanh District, particularly the significant political, economic, and social impact once the airport is completed and operational, which will drive overall development in the locality, region, and area. The leaders of Zhongshan City indicated their proactive role as a bridge to introduce Zhongshan enterprises to invest in Long Thanh District in various sectors such as trade, services, entertainment, and high-tech manufacturing.
Expressing sincere gratitude to the visiting city government, Secretary of the Long Thanh District Party Committee Duong Minh Dung believed that the influx of enterprises will contribute to diversifying economic development forms and create more jobs, increasing income for local workers. The district's departments and authorities will provide the best possible conditions in terms of site allocation and administrative procedures to ensure businesses feel secure and excited to invest.
At the ceremony, the Long Thanh District People's Committee and Zhongshan City officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding on establishing friendly cooperation relations. The Zhongshan City delegation also visited several Chinese enterprises operating in industrial zones within the district.
