Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc chaired the conference summarizing the second round of the 30-day and night plan to implement compensation and land clearance for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project.
According to reports from local authorities, up to now, the task of inventorying has been 100% completed for the entire project. Specifically, in terms of land origin determination, 171 cases in Bien Hoa City and 283 cases in Long Thanh District are yet to be completed.
Regarding the approval of compensation and support plans, Bien Hoa City has completed 5 rounds for 272 plots of land, totaling over 287 billion VND. Long Thanh District has approved compensation and support plans for 357 cases, with a total amount of nearly 380 billion VND.
In terms of land handover, nearly 20 hectares out of the total nearly 60 hectares required have been handed over to the investor in Bien Hoa City, achieving over 33% of the total area to be handed over. In Long Thanh District, approximately 56 hectares out of the nearly 230 hectares required have been handed over.
Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Phi noted that the land use inventory, the most challenging task of the project, have been essentially completed. Therefore, in the coming period, relevant units need to focus on preparing and approving compensation and support plans, disbursing compensation, and receiving land. To expedite progress, relevant units should continue to uphold the working spirit demonstrated during the two "30 days and nights of accelerated land clearance" campaigns.
Deputy Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Phi spoke at the conference.
Concluding the conference, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc assessed that, with a sense of responsibility and urgency, maximizing resources, working around the clock, through holidays, and even weekends, the land clearance for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project within the province has achieved certain results. However, despite great efforts and progress, the goal of completing the entire project land handover by June 30 was not met. Therefore, in the upcoming period, related units must focus more and strive harder to complete the land handover for the project within July 2024. Specifically, units must complete the approval of compensation and support plans for all remaining cases by July 15. Subsequently, efforts will be focused on disbursing compensation, encouraging residents to hand over the land. Additionally, units must complete the resettlement procedures for affected households by July 15.
