High-tech application of animal husbandry

According to a report by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, so far, the province has about 21% of the total pig farms using cold and closed cages. In which, 11.5% of farms have applied the automation technology in livestock production.

Raising pigs in a closed cold area system is a new direction in livestock development today. This is a modern farm model with full equipment such as water-cooling system, ventilation fan, automatic feeding and drinking trough, automatic temperature control system installed, etc. The temperature in the farm is always at a stable level to help the animals eat healthy and grow stably, saving manpower, and especially to ensure the safety and hygiene of diseases. Currently, the total pig herd in the province is about 2.3 million heads, up 9.5% over the same period.
