Diseases under Good control

According to the Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, in 2020, the whole province has recorded more than 6.1 thousand cases of dengue fever, a decrease of 68% compared to 2019; more than 7.2 thousand cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease, down 24.1% compared to 2019.

Other diseases have also droppedsharply over the same period of last year such as measles with only 140 cases (down 92.2%); malaria has only been recorded with 4 cases, reducing 6 cases. Cases of cholera, typhoid, meningitis meningococcuso, diphtheria, dysentery, amoeba, influenza A, Ebola, etc. have not been found.

Regarding vaccination practice, the rate of fully immunized children under 1 year of age reached 96.6%, vaccines and vaccination materials are provided in a timely and sufficient manner. The programs for the prevention and control of leprosy, malaria, tuberculosis and mental illness are completed according to the plan.
