tourism development cooperation with 3 provinces in the Central Highlands: Lam
Dong, Dak Nong and Dak Lak.

The signing and cooperation program for tourism development is an opportunity for localities to interact, exchange and share experiences in state management, tourism promotion, building tours... to contribute increasing the potential for tourism development.
Dong Nai is highly appreciated by other provinces and cities for its tourism potential, such as: Son Tien tourist city with the largest scale in Vietnam with 5 established records; Vuon Xoai tourist area with an overwhelming diversity of animals; the series of temples, communal houses and pagodas with cultural, heritage and historical values along with the converging cultural values of a dynamic and creative industrial land in today's era has created a foundation for Dong Nai to create an emotional background, different from other localities.
According to tourism businesses in the Tay Nguyen area, Dong Nai has many interesting things that few places have. This is a favorable condition for Dong Nai to build effective linked tourism products while still retaining its unique features. According to Ms. Khiet, tourism development is Lam Dong's strength. Many attractive tourist destinations, such as Tuyen Lam Lake, Langbiang Mountain, Datala Waterfall... can be connected with Dong Nai's tourism industry to promote its strengths, create linked products, sustainable development.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai, Director of Hai Lam Tay Nguyen Tourism Co., Ltd. (Dak Lak province) commented that Dong Nai is a province with strong economic and infrastructure development. Regarding tourism, Dong Nai impresses other localities with its rural tourism products as well as amusement parks, destinations for all ages of tourists. Dak Lak also has quite a potential tourist market. Therefore, the businesses all hope that the connection will create unique tourism products combining the Central Highlands as well as the Western provinces.
Connecting for sustainable tourism development
Mr. Huynh Quoc Bao, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Tourism Association, shared that in the coming time, the Association will actively organize activities, create connections, cultural exchanges, and promote tourism development. Mr. Bao hopes that the connection between associations and department leaders of provinces and cities, especially in the Central Highlands region, will be strengthened, creating attractive tourism products and building policies and support for businesses, bringing visitors from other places to the locality.
Mr. Le Huu Luan, Assistant to the Chairman of Suoi Tien Group, said that Dong Nai and the Central Highlands provinces have a lot of potential to cooperate to develop tourism in a sustainable way. Provinces can create cultural and tourist events in Son Tien tourist city. The location is always ready to accompany event organizers. Mr. Luan proposed the idea of organizing the Central Highlands Cultural Week in Dong Nai, held right in Son Tien. According to Mr. Luan, Son Tien is about to have a number of additional items that will come into operation. In 2024, Son Tien is expected to organize a number of big events, especially the upcoming largest Kite and International Cuisine Festival ever.
Sharing about Dong Nai's tourism development strategy, Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Loan, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that Dong Nai has many strengths in tourism development with a series of monuments, natural landscapes and cuisine has a strong folk character. Dong Nai currently has a number of famous tourism products such as: Cat Tien National Park, Dong Nai Cultural Nature Reserve; national treasures (Binh Da Stone Organ collection, Binh Hoa Vishnu statue and Long Giao bronze cross collection); famous dishes such as fried sticky rice, pomelo salad, pomelo wine... For the Central Highlands provinces, Dong Nai is identified as a potential market, with important significance in the province's tourism development. The tourism development cooperation program will create conditions for leaders of localities and businesses to interact, exchange and share experiences in state management, tourism promotion, and building tours, linking destinations to contribute to local tourism development in the coming years.
