20th Anniversary of Establishment of Tan Phu and Xuan Loc Districts

The anniversary was attended by General, Former Member of the Politburo and Former Minister of Defense Pham Van Tra, Member of the Central Party and Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, and Vice Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Phan Thi My Thanh.

Since the district was divided, its officers and people have extended their knowledge, and exploited all the district’s potentials and strengths to develop its local economy and to achieve remarkable accomplishments.

Particularly, the district’s annual economic growth hits an average of 11.9 percent. Its GDP reached over VND19 million in late 2010, 8.6 fold compared with 1991.

At the anniversary, Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh awarded the government’s outstanding emulation flag to the Party and the people of Xuan Loc district, the leader in emulation movements in 2010.

The same day, Tan Phu district celebrated its 20th Anniversary of Establishment.

The anniversary was attended by Deputy Secretary of the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee Le Hong Phuong and Vice Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh.

Over its twenty years of construction and growth, Tan Phu district has won a lot of important socio-economic achievements at a high speed and undergone a reasonable transition in its economic structure.

Thus, its economic sectors have shown a high growth rate and its people's lives have been considerably improved.

At the anniversary, Deputy Secretary of the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee Le Hong Phuong awarded Dong Nai People’s Committee’s commendation flag to the people and the officers of Tan Phu district to mark its twenty years of construction and growth, and badges to the Party members with 30, 40 and 50 years of service in the Party.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals that have made great contributions to the process of establishment and construction of Tan Phu district the past twenty years were rewarded.
