Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Receives Indonesian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh

On the morning of October 24, Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai received Indonesian Consul General to Ho Chi Minh City Bambang Tarsanto Sumosutargio.

Chairperson of Dong Nai People's Committee Dinh Quoc Thai (right side) receives Indonesian Consul General

At the reception, Mr. Bambang Tarsanto Sumosutargio thanked Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai for spending his time receiving the delegation and highly appreciated the harmonious relationship between Indonesia and Vietnam, two member countries of ASEAN.

Consul General expressed his wishes that Vietnam and Indonesia would continue promoting both sides’ economic and cultural relations through cultural exchanges and performances carried out by the two countries’ art troupes.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai warmly welcomed the visit of Indonesian Consul General Bambang Tarsanto Sumosutargio to Dong Nai and expressed his excitement in witnessing a higher and higher growth of the friendship between Vietnam and Indonesia.

Also he hoped that Indonesia with its available potentials and conditions would continue growing strong in the future.

Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee made a brief report on Dong Nai’s socio-economic development and foreign investment attraction.

Up to now, Dong Nai has attracted 35 countries and territories’ investment. There are two Indonesian companies with a total investment capital of US$11 million in Dong Nai.

Dong Nai‘s leadership always give encouragement and assistance to and create favorable conditions for all countries’ businesses in general and Indonesian businesses in particular in order that they would be able to invest in production and business activities in Dong Nai.
