The delegation led by Mr. Le Hong Phuong, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, has 22 members including representatives of 8 enterprises in the province. Over two weeks in UK, the delegation had a series of talks with Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Liverpool city, Dorman Long Technology Group, John Moores University, Central Lancashire University, Potia Management Group, BP Group…etc so as to introduce key infrastructure construction projects of Dongnai province such as: bridge to connect Nhon Trach district with 9th district of Ho Chi Minh City, Phuoc An sea port, international university, Dongnai General hospital…
Having been thoughtfully prepared, all projects introduced by the Dongnai delegation had attracted many potential partners, especially big famous groups in UK. As a result, 5 memorandums of agreement between Dongnai delegation and UK partners had been signed. The most significant agreements are on the project to assist Dongnai province to conduct survey, design and support technical services on infrastructure construction works, bridge and port building and on constructing and managing general hospital of the province and to help educate and train power resource.
The delegation had attended in the “Vietnam Days in UK” program organized by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. After being informed by Dongnai province, many UK partners pledged to come to Dongnai in the middle of this November in order to discuss in detail on these projects.
