Dong Nai continues to build green industrial parks

​On April 06, Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority celebrated its 20th anniversary. The participant including: Dinh Quoc Thai, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of PPC; Phan Thi My Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; representatives of departments, foreign business associations in Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City and 28 infrastructure trading of industrial zone companies




Currently the province has 31 industrial parks, with almost 10 thousand hectare area and the occupancy rate is 67%. Industrial zones in the province attract and create jobs for about 470 thousand workers in and outside the province. Over the years, the business infrastructure company has invested more than 400 million USD to build the infrastructure of the industrial zone in Dong Nai. Most of the province's industrial zones have focus sewage treatment plants. The province's industrial parks attract more than 1,300 projects, of which nearly one thousand foreign investment projects with total capital nearly 17.7 billion USD.

According to Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Department of Economic Zones Authority (Ministry of Planning - Investment), Dong Nai industrial zones development is soon and most dynamic throughout the country, enterprises in the industrial zones of Dong Nai have made significant contributions to the growth of national industry. Simultaneously, industrial parks create jobs for many workers in the country.

At the ceremony, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai said next time, Dong Nai will continue to build industrial parks in the model of green industrial parks and will create favorable conditions for enterprises to expand production and attract new investment.
