On April 23rd, Deputy Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong hosted the Workshop “Dong Nai Provincial Government and Enterprises – Preparation for Vietnam’s Trans- Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) Accession”
According to the Deputy Chairman, the enterprises should actively look for the material supply in TPP’s member countries and cooperate to meet their material need so as to take advantage of the goods export opportunities when TPP is signed.
Now, The United States and Vietnam are negotiating to sign the Agreement at the end of 2015 as planned. When the Agreement is signed, tax of lots of goods exported to the United States will be decreased to 0%. This is a great opportunity for enterprises to export goods, expand the market. However, they have to improve the product quality and production materials according to the rules of TPP’s member countries.
