In 2010, Dong Nai attracted a total of foreign investment capital worth US$ 1.5 billion, including both increased capital and capital from newly-registered projects.

Until late 2010, the number of valid investment licenses totals approximately 980 with a total registered capital worth US$18.89 billion.

Up to now, 30 industrial parks built on an area of 9,573.8 hectares including 6,338 hectares for lease have been granted investment certificates.

Particularly, 3,750 hectares have been leased, accounting for 59.2 percent of the area for lease.

These industrial parks have attracted domestic investment capital worth VND52 trillion (or US$2.55 billion), equivalent to a 2.08 fold increase according to plan targets.

Until late September 2010, Dong Nai has had 251 domestic investment projects with a total registered capital of over VND135.6 trillion (or over US$7 billion) through the channel of issuance of investment certificates or registration.
