     This is also a main content of the conference of provincial Committee for Family, Population and Children to sum up its operation in 2005 and the orientation of 2006.

In 2005, all localities in the province have launched many campaigns to enhance propaganda of population law and simultaneously provide family-planning services for the second time. The holding of typical family festival on the Family Day of June 28^th has created a chance for many families to study and exchange knowledge on taking care of their families and on building a stable family. On the occasion of this festival, it officially declares the piloting of credit family project in districts of Vinh Cuu and Tan Phu. Besides, the campaign to collect old but good shirts and books has attracted great concerns of public and individuals and groups in the sector. The campaign has raised fund of over 35 million VND donated to outstanding poor children. To keep people informed about latest news and information, it has its employees to supply free-of-charge booklets of law on protecting, caring and educating children to every household.

    In 2006, it continues to focus on propagandizing ordinances on population, to efficiently implement government’s resolutions on reducing the numbers of children who are homeless and victims of sex abuse and child labor and to enhance the capacity of local social workers on population.
