Fire broke out at Bien Hoa Bus Station, destroying 8 vehicles

The fire started at around 1AM at the bus parking-house. The Bus Station’s security guards reported that the fire broke out from the bus bearing the number plate 60B-00024 (running Bien Hoa- Can Tho route) and fast spread through other buses nearby. After discovering the fire, the security force of the station managed to put it out, yet it spread so quickly while the bus parking-house were locked, causing  great difficulties in the initial extinction. Receiving information about the fire, the team of firefighters from Provincial Security Department arrived in time along with devices to put out the fire. However it was so fierce that did it take more than 2 hours for the team to be able to control it. The initial investigation showed that the possible reason might be the battery electrical fire of that bus.

The fire did not cause any human damage but completely destroyed 7 other buses and 1 truck. The total damage was estimated at up to VND 2 billion. The functional agency is investigating the fire now.
