Long Khanh District raised more than VND 100 million to support AO victims

Along with the fund that Long Khanh AO Victim Association has raised previously, more than VND 100 million mobilized in the first nine months by the Association was used to support families of AO victims across the District, including material gifts worth VND 170 million and cash worth nearly VND70 million. Also, these families received more than VND 100 million directly from organizations and individuals who were called for the support by the Association.

Visit and give gifts to AO victims in Bao Vinh Commune  

The Association has presented houses of affection to victim families with especially difficult circumstances in Xuan An Ward; provided bran and pigs for some of difficult families so that they can afford to do small business; given cows and goats to some of families for them to develop breeding. Also, it called for enterprises and sponsors to give direct assistance to these families via cash, wheelchairs and coordinated with central, provincial and municipal public health units to provide the victims with regular free check-up and treatment, said Do Thang Phien, Chairman of Long Khanh Town AO Victim Association.
