“At the early age, whenever I was told and read interesting stories about Unlce Ho, a great leader of the nation, I felt very happy because I could learn a lot of things from Uncle Ho”, Luu Thanh Thao Ly, a nine-grade student of Phuoc An junior high school, Nhon Trach district said.

Thao Ly won the second prize and a prize for the youngest candidate in Nhon Trach’s contest on telling stories about Ho Chi Minh’s moral example. In nine years, she continuously is a excellent student. Since she used to take part in a lot of activities at schools, when the district launched the story-telling contest, her teacher advised her enroll in it. She didn’t hesitate about taking part in the exam. Then she spent two weeks in reading books and preparing for the contest. With the story named “ Uncle Ho’s expense”, Thao Ly actually made the board of examiners and audiences moved. Thao Ly said, “ I was really surprised and happy when I could join this contest. Thanks to the contest a long with study about real life, as well as stories about Uncle Ho’s moral example, I myself understand think that I should try more and more in study and become a useful citizen for society. One specific lesson from Uncle Ho was that firstly we should save electricity in home and school. I hope that other children will save it too”.
