After more than one month of construction, on the morning of September 15th, the pistol shooting range was inaugurated and put into use by Military Command. Cadres in attendance at the inauguration ceremony included : Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, Commissioner of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial People’s Committee ; Mr. Tran Van Tu, Commissioner of provincial Standing Party Committee, Chairman of provincial Party Committee's Commission of Inspection, President of provincial People's Council.
The range was
built on the campus of the Provincial Military Command, with the area of more
than 1,350 m2 and the total investment cost of more than 440 million funded
by provincial budget. This is considered one of the important training and
fighting constructions, contributing to improving the quality of K54 shooting training, competitions and sport
festivals of Provincial Armed Force.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tri emphasized: the provincial Armed Force’s pistol shooting range is one of important training and fighting constructions, contributing to training result and quality of Provincial Armed Force, as well as the achievement in contests, sport festivals of the provincial armed force compared to other units. Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee requested that, each officers and soldiers must be responsible for managing and using the range the right way, fully utilizing the capacity of the construction. At the same time, the provincial Military Command must ensure the absolute safety of people and property, weapons and equipment used in training; as well as get the best results in real shooting, contests and sport festivals.
