The region of Bretagne will be a strategic partner of Dong Nai province in the future. |
Following the memorandum, Bretagne will assist Vietnam, particularly Dong Nai province in gathering and organizing farmers into the associations for agricultural cooperation so that they can share experience and expand productive capacity to increase profits but keep ensuring their product quality and protecting their local environment. Bretagne will plan a centralized project to organize the companies which share the same value of a certain line of products into a specifically-planned zone called “United Production Zone for product lines”. The participant companies can share the costs associated with common services such as waste management, transportation and so on and create a recognized trademark on the market.
Each side has been committed to attempting to bring each other the best conditions in order that both sides could understand and best adapt to each other during cooperation and together encourage the development of cooperative projects on the purpose of bringing both sides social benefits by greatly facilitating students and postgraduates’ coming to receive skill and experience share and by helping them with visa and temporary residence card requirements – support each other in customs and tax procedures and meet the regulations of importing and exporting machinery, equipment and goods – support each other in training and making the young generations of both sides chances to study and exchange skills and experience by establishing scholarship funds and providing sponsorship or other forms of support.
Cooperative sides are composed of Dong Nai provincial authorities and the region of Bretagne – Dong Nai industrial food corporation (Donataba) and other members including Proconco – Glon group, its members and agricultural groups in Bretagne including France Hybride Vietnam – businesses and other concerned organizations. It is known that this memorandum has had a five years’ duration since it was signed.
