More than 250 Propaganda and Education officers from fifteen southern provinces and cities and former heads of the Propaganda and Education were present at the get together.

Delegates lay wreaths and burn incense at the commemorative stele

Delegates reminisced about the traditions of the Trung Uong Cuc Mien Nam (or the Central Bureau of the South Vietnam) and of the Propaganda and Education in War Zone D.

Propaganda and Education staff will make efforts to inherit and promote these glorious traditions with the aim of performing the Propaganda and Education’s functions properly, contributing to making a unanimously political ideology among the Party, seeking for people’s support and enhancing the Party’s prestige.

Over the past eighty years, Propaganda and Education has established scientific foundations and a system of theoretical points towards the Party and the State’s lines and policies, focused on helping people expand their knowledge, provided human resources for the country, fostered the country’s talents and contributed to building and protecting the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
