After 29 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the United States (1995-2024), and 11 years since the establishment of the Comprehensive Partnership between the two countries (2013-2024), the Vietnam-U.S. relationship has made comprehensive and substantial progress, deepening day by day. The leaders of Vietnam and the United States have declared the establishment of a "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace, Cooperation, and Sustainable Development" and signed numerous breakthrough cooperation agreements, elevating the relationship to new heights. This was announced during the state visit to Vietnam by U.S. President Joe Biden in September 2023.
