Mr. Nguyen Hong Que, Deputy Director in charge of the Compensation and Land Clearance Project Management Board and Resettlement Support of the province, stated that during the "30 days and nights for the implementation of compensation and land clearance work for key projects" campaign, in the section of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project that passes through Bien Hoa City, the unit has assigned 2 teams (with at least 10 people per team) to bring all the documents, machinery, and equipment to work directly at the People's Committee of Phuoc Tan and Tam Phuoc wards, in coordination with the People's Committee of these wards and other functional units of Bien Hoa City to carry out the tasks. "Since the campaign was launched, officials and civil servants have increased their work hours, including working on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and overtime at night," Mr. Nguyen Hong Que said.

With these efforts, up to now, in Phuoc Tan ward, the competent agencies have completed the survey of 737 plots of land out of a total of 742 plots, achieving over 99% of the total plots. In Tam Phuoc ward, all 383 plots of land have also completed the survey.

According to Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, since the launch of the "30 days and nights for the implementation of compensation and land clearance work for key projects" campaign, there have been positive developments in the progress of land clearance for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project. "At present, the work is on track. Leaders of Bien Hoa City and Long Thanh district need to concentrate on directing the units to carry out the tasks well, enhance mobilization, and create consensus so that people can hand over their land in order to fulfill the commitment to the Prime Minister, which is to hand over the entire project land by June 30," emphasized Chairman Vo Tan Duc.

Accelerating the disbursement of funds

Along with expediting the progress of land acquisition, compensation, and support procedures, the payment of compensation and support money to the residents to speed up the disbursement of funds allocated for the project is also being urgently implemented.
