The delegation conducted a field survey at the Vang Anh Honey Facility (An Vien Commune, Trang Bom District), which is currently developing five pre-OCOP products, with their documentation nearing completion for OCOP certification this year. The facility expressed its desire for further funding support programs to expand production, strengthen raw material connections, and promote e-commerce and trade promotion activities.
During a meeting with the Trang Bom District Steering Committee 264, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ven acknowledged the achievements made by the locality in implementing the OCOP program. She also urged the district's Steering Committee to coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to further develop local advantage products under the OCOP program, aligning them with stable raw material regions. The program should be linked to sustainable agricultural production and commercialization.
Additionally, the locality was encouraged to incorporate scientific and technological advancements into production, promote cooperation and regional linkages with raw material zones, and enhance the production, processing, and consumption of agricultural products. The district should expand the value chain linkages between production, processing, preservation, and product consumption, while further developing markets for OCOP products through distribution channels, retail, and e-commerce.
