Enhancing E-Commerce Application Capacity for Enterprises

(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On October 31st, the Viet Nam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) collaborated with the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade to organize a workshop aimed at enhancing the capacity of enterprises to apply e-commerce within the context of implementing free trade agreements (FTAs).

A representative from the Viet Nam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) delivers the opening speech at the workshop.

In her opening remarks, Deputy Head Ho Thi To Uyen, of the E-commerce Operations Management Division (E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency), highlighted that Dong Nai has many opportunities and great potential to develop e-commerce both now and in the future. This workshop was organized to support businesses in Dong Nai to raise their awareness and capacity to effectively leverage the FTAs that Vietnam has signed.

This will help accelerate the digital transformation process and utilize e-commerce as an effective tool to enhance business strategies and the competitiveness of enterprises. The workshop focused on two main topics: online exports and the role of FTAs in helping businesses better adapt to digital transformation.

During the event, businesses in the province were provided with insights from experts and representatives of the E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency on trends in e-commerce and the digital economy in Vie Nam. Discussions also included strategies to enhance the online export capacity of small, medium, and micro-enterprises. Additionally, the speakers presented on the role of FTAs in export-import activities and shared commitments related to e-commerce in the context of the current global integration.
