(News Portal – Dong Nai) - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc recently directed the Department of Planning and Investment to urgently provide recommendations, allocate resources, and ensure sufficient funding for the construction of centralized wastewater treatment systems. These projects have already received investment approval and are in the preparation phase.
Wastewater treatment plant in Bien Hoa City
The key projects include: a residential wastewater collection pipeline leading to a centralized wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 3,000 m³/day and night in Ho Nai Ward (Bien Hoa City); the Phase 1 centralized drainage and wastewater treatment system for Long Khanh City.
Additionally, there are three wastewater treatment projects for urban-planned localities: the priority phase of the centralized drainage and wastewater treatment system in Trang Bom Town (Trang Bom District) with a capacity of 2,000 m³/day and night; the priority phase of the centralized drainage and wastewater treatment system in Long Thanh Town (Long Thanh District) with a capacity of 1,000 m³/day and night; the Phase 1 drainage and wastewater treatment system in Nhon Trach District with a capacity of 16,000 m³/day and night.
The Department of Planning and Investment has also been tasked with expediting the appraisal of investment decisions and feasibility studies for drainage and wastewater treatment projects under its jurisdiction.
