Enterprise affirms brand value with national quality award

National Quality Award is one of the Government's awards to reward enterprises with outstanding achievements in improving the quality of goods and products.

Over the years, the National Quality Award has been deployed to enterprises in Dong Nai. Through the participation, many enterprises in the province have won prizes, thereby helping to improve productivity, quality and competitiveness of goods; At the same time, it is a tool to help them improve their ability to organize production and business management according to international standards.

 Affirm brand and quality

In order to win the award, enterprises must pass prequalification and rigorous evaluation in many fields. Accordingly, there are 7 criteria given for assessment by experts, including: the role of the organization's leadership; operational strategy; customer and market-oriented policies; measurement, analysis and knowledge management; management and development of human resources; operational process management; operation results. According to enterprises that have participated and won awards, this set of evaluation criteria is very important, participating and receiving awards will encourage enterprises to review their overall operations to manage production in a systematic manner, stricter and more reasonable.

Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd (Bien Hoa City) is proud to receive the 2020 National Championship Gold Award in the first year of participation. This year, enterprises continue to attend in order to gradually improve their production activities. Mr. Binu Jacob, General Director of the company said that this award is a measure, a tool and a motivation for enterprises to develop. “Participating in the award not only helps businesses improve more and more by applying advanced management tools, but also contributes to improving productivity, quality and competitiveness of products and services in the domestic and international market" said Mr. Binu Jacob.

Similarly, at Dong Nai Animal Feed Factory (C.P. Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, Bien Hoa City) also determined the point of view of increasingly trying and reaching for the highest perfection. Accordingly, this year is the third time the factory participates in the National Quality Award. Mr. Hua Tan Thu, Factory Director shared, through the process of participating in the award, this is a model for enterprises to improve themselves in terms of management quality, criteria and standards. The criteria of the award are based on modern principles such as customer-oriented, process management, system-based management and modern management methods (ISO 9000, ISO 14000, 5S, TPM...). These are all in line with the principles of the national quality policy.

Improving the productivity and quality of the business community in the area

 The National Quality Award is considered a tool and solution for enterprises to improve themselves, thereby improving production and business efficiency. Some businesses said that participating and winning the prize is just the first step. Depending on the level of implementation and willingness of enterprises, the effectiveness of participation may vary. However, improving quality productivity must be a transition and takes time to evaluate. Therefore, in addition to communicating and encouraging the participation of the business community from the awarding agency, successful lesson-sharing activities and effective models from award-winning enterprises are also necessary to help other businesses learn and consult each other.
