Dong Nai to Host Several Conferences to Grant Investment Registration Certificates to FDI Enterprises

(News Portal – Dong Nai) - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc announced that the province is planning to organize a conference this week to grant investment registration certificates to FDI (foreign direct investment) enterprises in the province. The total expected investment from these enterprises is approximately 500 million USD.

The Chairman assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to take the lead and advise the Provincial People's Committee on economic and social development solutions to report to the Provincial Party Secretary and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party. These solutions aim to ensure the successful implementation of growth objectives in 2025.

For the goal of achieving double-digit growth in 2025 and the following years, provincial leaders tasked the Department of Planning and Investment with organizing a scientific seminar to seek input from scientists, experts, and leaders to provide suggestions and initiatives for Dong Nai's development in the future.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Finance, in coordination with the Provincial Tax Department and Customs Department, to organize a conference to engage and attract business associations, enterprises, and investors to establish offices and conduct tax filings in Dong Nai. They were also tasked with setting up a hotline to address feedback from businesses, aiming to rectify any issues caused by tax, customs, or state officials who create difficulties for enterprises. The results must be reported to the Provincial People's Committee by February 2025.

Regarding the organization of conferences to improve workforce quality, digital transformation, and administrative reform in Dong Nai, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, and the Department of Information and Communications to prepare the content for these conferences. These efforts will implement key tasks and solutions to improve workforce quality, drive digital transformation, and enhance administrative reforms, thereby improving provincial indicators. The results must be reported to the Provincial People's Committee by February 2025. ​
