(News Portal – Dong Nai) - In the process of evaluating and determining Dong Nai's socio-economic development space according to the development orientation of the multipolar model, leaders of Dong Nai province were consulted to add Vinh Cuu district to the province's economic development driving zone.
Route 768 has a large traffic volume in Vinh Cuu district
Vinh Cuu district will have more opportunities to accelerate and become an attractive locality for major investors. This will be the change for Vinh Cuu's planned projects as the district will be able to choose trustworthy investors, especially for environmental friendly high-tech projects, services and tourism sectors…
Taking advantage of traffic connections
Some opinions suggest that the development potential of Vinh Cuu district will be positively affected when Beltway 4 - Ho Chi Minh City is finished. The distance from Vinh Cuu district to Cai Mep - Thi Vai port will be shortened than that of Binh Phuoc and Binh Duong provinces, so Vinh Cuu's chance to become an attractive investment destination will no longer be a dream because the advantages of waterway, road and even air transport are much more convenient.
According to the orientation, the province's dynamic economic development area is centered in 3 areas, including: the southwest area runs from Long Thanh, Nhon Trach, Trang Bom districts, Bien Hoa City and part of Vinh Cuu district; the Eastern area stretches from Thong Nhat, Xuan Loc, and Cam My districts to Long Khanh city; the northern region includes the following districts: Dinh Quan, Tan Phu and part of Vinh Cuu. Thus, Vinh Cuu district is the only district located in 2 of the 3 economic development areas of the province: the Southwest and the North. These development areas are also in line with the district's general development planning for the following years.
According to the Department of Economics - Infrastructure of Vinh Cuu distirct, recently, when the Provincial People's Committee organized a provincial-level scientific conference to comment on the planning of Dong Nai province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the Department of Economics - Infrastructure has together with the district's departments advised district leaders on a number of proposed plans to connect transport infrastructure with Bien Hoa airport and related contents in Dong Nai province planning. These are plans to create advantages for Vinh Cuu when provincial and central projects are implemented, with special emphasis on plans to connect transport infrastructure with Bien Hoa airport
Effectively utilize the district's potentials
To fully exploit the potential for future development, the locality has proposed specific solutions such as: a connection plan from Beltway 4 to Bien Hoa airport following the newly planned route which is the extended DT768B, connecting from Vinh An town to Thien Tan water plant; the proposed option 2 is to connect Beltway 4 to Bien Hoa airport area along the new route following the 500Kv power line combined with Dong Nai riverside road; another option that Vinh Cuu proposed is to supplement the planning of the Dong Nai riverside road, in order to connect with the existing Bien Hoa City riverside road. If implemented, this route will be running along the Dong Nai river, connecting with bridges across Dong Nai river such as Thanh Hoi bridge, Bach Dang bridge, Tan Hien - Thuong Tan bridge.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Phuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Cuu District, said that with the planning options that the district had proposed, from connecting the transportation system to developing industrial production land areas, according to him, when connecting transportation, not only industry but also many other areas such as services and tourism will also attract investors. The district will have the opportunity to become a major economic developing point of the province in industrial - urban development, financial services, banking, smart tourism, forest and lake eco-tourism, developing ecological agriculture and high-tech, environmentally friendly agriculture...
