Construction of Loc An - Binh Son Resettlement Area: The province to monitor the construction progress closely

WEB PORTAL – On the morning of April 20, at the Loc An - Binh Son Resettlement Area, the provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board broke ground to commence the construction of technical infrastructure.  Attending were the Party Central Committee Member, Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Phu Cuong; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son; Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung; Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Council Nguyen Son Hung; Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh with leaders of some departments, branches and Long Thanh district. 

Sharing with the press, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung said that according to Dong Nai's commitment to the Government, by October 2020, the site will be handed over to the priority stage (area of 1.8 thousand hectares) and the end of the first quarter; In the beginning of the second quarter of 2021, the whole project of Long Thanh Airport will be handed over to the Investor. The groundbreaking ceremony today shows Dong Nai's determination to complete the procedures, investing in infrastructure of Loc An - Binh Son Resettlement Area to arrange people in the project area to resettle in this area.

​In the spirit of speeding up, the provincial leadership has directed all bidding documents to be done carefully. At the same time, the units must be constructed day and night to ensure the fastest progress so that when the province commences compensation for the construction area of Long Thanh Airport, and the local people can get the ground for house construction. The provincial leadership will closely monitor the progress of this project.

At the ground-breaking ceremony, the project investor also asked the construction contractors to comply with the standards, procedures and technical regulations; mobilize all human resources to work overtime planning to ensure progress and quality of construction. Besides, the construction units also need to strictly comply with regulations on prevention and control of COVID-19.

After the groundbreaking ceremony, four roads D1, D18, N23 and N39 and a package of constructing a drainage route from the wastewater treatment station along the rubber plot to Ong Que stream will be built right in this April. In May, 16 more construction bidding packages will be started.
