The whole province currently has 123 irrigation works providing water for irrigation and drainage support for agricultural production areas.

Specifically, there is 1 project managed by the Central Government, the others are managed by the province authority including: 15 reservoirs, 57 dams, 33 pumping stations, 17 dykes to prevent floods and salty. Irrigation works in the province basically provide water for agricultural production, protect underground water sources and drain water when floods occur.
Besides the above works, the province also has 246 rivers and streams ranging from I to IV level, which provide a stable source of circuit water for agricultural, industrial and domestic production.
Currently, the province has completed clean water transmission systems to connect to factories and water supply areas in order to ensure stable and secured water supply for production and daily life; expanding clean water networks to suburbs and rural areas in order to increase the percentage of households using clean water following Ministry of Health standards. Big cities are completing wastewater and rainwater drainage systems to limit pollution of circuit water sources and prevent flooding.
