Over 60 percent of veterans were elected to take the positions at the levels of the Party committees in their localities.

Another outstanding activity of VAV is the campaign of hunger elimination, poverty reduction, leaked houses eradication and helping each other do business and get rich legally.

Until now, VAV has raised more than VND10 billion to make loans for veterans with the aim of helping them promote their production activities and to stabilize their lives.

Currently nearly 50 percent of veteran households have become rich and pretty rich.

Thanks to the launch of this campaign, many VAV groups and members have done many good and useful things for the collective, the community and the country to contribute to honoring the quality of "Uncle Ho's Troops" in a new period.
