Meeting participants continued to divide themselves into discussion groups at the 21st meeting session of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council (7th Term) on the morning of December 8.

Meeting participants in discussion groups

The issue attracts participants’ great concern is the slow progress of handling environmental pollution of pollution-prone manufacturers.

Making asphalt rural roads in some regions such as Cam My, Thong Nhat districts and so on have caused serious concern among voters. Besides, the shortage of household and production electricity attracts meeting participants’ concern.

Within the group-discussion session this morning, many participants suggested accelerating the progress of build-concrete-school program in the second period (2008-2012) and paying more attention to educational quality.

In terms of health sector, some participants said that the preservation of food safety and sanitation has been paid attention to, strengthened, inspected and supervised, but how well this job done has not been paid much attention to yet.

Besides, the building of medical clinics satisfying national standards in urban areas needs calculation that goes together with planning and local development conditions.

Also, meeting participants said that the socialization of education, health and sports should be further promoted.

This afternoon, the question and answer session will be held.
