On the afternoon of April 18, the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee held a meeting to hand over the dossiers of candidate deputies into the 13th National Assembly and of candidate delegates into Dong Nai People's Council in 2011-2016 period to Dong Nai Election Committee.

The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Council and Head of Dong Nai Election Committee Huynh Chi Thang, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee and Deputy Head of Dong Nai Election Committee.

According to the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee, the third discussion meeting agreed upon the list of 15 candidate deputies into the 13th National Assembly and of 134 candidate delegates into Dong Nai People’s Council in 2011-2016 period.

Of 15 candidate deputies into the 13th National Assembly, one is a self-nominated.

The list of these 15 candidates and of 4 candidates nominated by the Central government will be sent to election units. Voters will cast their votes to choose 11 deputies into the 13th National Assembly.

Of the 134 candidate delegates into Dong Nai’s People Council in 2011-2016  period, there are not any self-nominated candidates.

At the handover meeting, Chairwoman of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien said that official candidates’ dossiers would be submitted to Dong Nai Election Committee first and then sent to election units in the province.

In the forthcoming time, Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee will closely cooperate with concerned agencies in organizing effective meeting-the-voters programs, campaigning for election candidates, and helping voters choose ethical and talented delegates.
