The rubber sector in 2005 gains the best performance ever

In 2005, the total area of rubber plantations were narrowed down but the sector succeeded in finding measures to increase latex output and ensured the living standard of its staff of over 15,000. Plantations were encouraged to enter the 2,000 tons club initiated by the sector and emulation spread to plantations nationwide.

Initiative to save labor cost helps Cam My Rubber Plantation to save over 2.6 billion VND in 2005. Thanks to this the average earning of a worker reaches 3 million VND a month and the year end frame benefit came to 17 million VND.

Up to the present time, only 20 plantations in the country are members of 2,000 tons. According to Dong Nai rubber Company, all the plantations under the company are determined to join the club by 2010.
