On 14/02/2005, cable and telecom materials joint stock company (SACOM) has come back to work since Tet holiday and exports the first order with total amount of 1.6 billion VND.
Mr. Do Van Trac, vice president and managing general director, says that company has earned 500 billion VND in 2004, increased 37% comparing to last year, and contributes 59 billion VND to state budget, 1.4 billion above the target. In 2005, Sacom targets to reach 550-600 billion US$. According to Mr. Trac, the target is high because some investment sources in past years come into force. Sacom has invested about 47 billion VND to install 2 production lines to produce LAN and telephone cable and has planed to increase production capacity and to diversify its products. In the first quarter of 2005, company will begin to construct an electric cable plant in Long Thanh district and it is considering to build a fourteen stories apartment with 40 rooms located at contiguous area between Tan Van ward of Bien Hoa City and An Binh district of Binh Duong province as to sale to worker
