Promoting Dong Nai province – Japan friendship and cooperation

The friendship and cooperation between Dong Nai province and Japan have been well developed in many years, especially the economic cooperation. Japan is currently having 211 projects invested in Dong Nai with the total registered capital of over 3.7 billion USD from many enterprises such as: Lixil Global Manufacturing Vietnam, Fujitsu Co. Ltd… In additional, since 2012, Dong Nai has signed the agreements of friendly cooperation in many fields with 7 Japanese partners. Dong Nai also cooperated with many Japan localities in many other activities such as exchanging science-technology to develop modern technology, supporting technology and infrastructure, maintaining culture exchange activities and labor training.

 

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Chairwoman Nguyen Hiep Hoa highlighted that the foundation of Vietnam – Japanese Friendship Association played an important role in maintaining and developing the relationship between people in the two countries as well as the cooperation between Dong Nai province and Japan. Ms. Hoa recommended that the Association shall focus on the events with high cultural, economic politic value between the two countries. Accordingly, special events for anniversaries, tradition exchange… shall be held regularly to maintain the strong relationship and promote the relationship via propagation to more and more people. The cooperation relationship shall also be maintained to promote the Foreign Affair missions between the two countries. Organizing education, information and culture exchange events to promote the relationship value to the young generation. Make better connection by establish the Association branches in every Japanese enterprises in Dong Nai province.
