Promising export orders in 2015

Accordingly, along with the traditional markets of Europe and America, the company has expanded into the Australian furniture market. Entering 2015, wood export market has many positive signs. Currently, the company has received production orders to the end of Quarter 1-2015.

"Last year this time, the company only received production orders till the end of January. But in this year, the order was to end the first quarter. This suggests, the wood export market has many positive signs" said Mr. Thai


According to Nguyen Van Hoang, deputy general director of Dong Tien Joint Stock Company, to date, the company has received orders to August-2015. However, since February is the “low” season of the garment, so far, the company has been "run" orders for this month.


"We already have orders till July, August-2015. This shows the garment export market will be more prosperous in 2015" , mr. Hoang share.


According to Mr. Hoang, recent years, Dong Tien does not advocate expanding the market that focus on increasing production for traditional customers in Europe, Japan, USA. Accordingly, in 2014, Dong Tien Joint Stock Company has expanded scale of operations with the addition of 1,000 workers at production in the Phu Cuong industrial zone. In 2015, the company will continue to recruit about 1,000 employees working in this industrial zone.


Besides garments, furniture and handicraft products such as rattan, bamboo, ceramics are also many good sign. Tran Chi Trung, Director Ngu Nam Phat Co. Ltd, specializing in commodities, rattan or bamboo exporter said, this time, the company also has orders till March-2015.

"At present, rattan products of Vietnam are still in fierce competition with Chinese goods. Therefore, customers are for reference when ordering prices in some countries, and then decide. Besides, if the former, customers can "deposit" orders within 6 months, but now, just order in the period from 1-3 months, "Trung said.

Unit price does not increase

According to Mr. Thai, orders have increased but export furniture price unit remains unchanged: "Although orders increased significantly, but our company keep prices plaintiff. As in past years, Vietnam's economy generally stable, prices of raw materials hardly fluctuates. Besides, petrol price reduction makes freight discount. But first the government has decided to increase the salaries of the workers, but it also does not affect the production and business of enterprises ".


Also according to Mr. Thai, to retain loyal customers and expand the market, a prerequisite of business is the goods quality factor, delivery schedule on time and then  price. He said: "Customers of the US, Japan, Europe attaches special importance to the delivery contract. This reflects the professionalism of the enterprise ".

The same point of view, Mr Hoang also said that customers in Europe, America, Japan, the company in addition to interested in three factors: quality, delivery schedules, prices are very concerned about social liability enterprise. "Customers are also particularly interested in corporate social responsibility to provide products. That means, in order to get orders, enterprises also must undergo assessment of the plant's customers, working conditions, wages, social welfare ... "Mr. Hoang said.


Meanwhile, the Thai Duong ceramics company said, large orders but lower unit prices, so the company had refused. According to Tran Chi Trung, director Ngu Nam Phat Co. confided: If you have big orders, only for valued clients, companies dare to take. At the same time, companies also have to consider the most important factor is the payment terms of payment. The selection of reasonable payment terms will avoid the risk of trading large orders.

According to the Department of Trade and Industry, the manufacturing firms export goods soon have more orders for 2015 is a good signal. Orientation of Industry and Commerce sector is diversified export market to avoid risks for price or technical barriers.
