In the afternoon of March 01, in Manila capital (Philippines), fuel saving car model LH-Gold Energy Lac Hong University won the first prize of Shell Eco Marathon contest in Urban concept category, vehicles on ethanol biofuel fuel.
LH-Gold Energy also won “Best video clip award”, award for team has won best video clip, showing the fabrication process and running tests of vehicle.
LH-Gold Energy achieved running distance 164,4km / liter of ethanol E100. Ranked second and third are two teams of Indonesia, with achievements, respectively 102.6 and 85.7 km / liter of ethanol E100.
Shell Eco-marathon launched in 1985 in France. The competition was first held in Asia in 2010 in Malaysia. This year's competition welcomes the competition of 127 teams from 17 countries. Lac Hong University and other public universities is the Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and Education... participated in the competition.
