Dong Nai Agency of Statistic informed that in the first 7 months of 2016, Dong Nai exported nearly 213 thousand ton of coffee with 354 million USD of turnover, increased 51% more in productivity and 25% more in price comparing with the same period last year.
Thus, the coffee productivity has increased remarkably since the beginning of this year but the exported price decrease deeply. The current coffee price that the provincial retail offered to the farmers is 38-39 thousand VND/kg. According to economy experts, the coffee price in the international market shall not change much due to abundant supply; therefore, it is hard for domestic coffee price to rise high. Enterprises in Dong Nai are currently export coffee to over 30 countries and the main markets are in the U.S and the Europe.
