Be active in applying of technological science to integrate

Last year, in spite of hard weather, epidemic, increasing of fertilizer; but thanks to renewal of content and running ways, peasant movement of the whole province got some positive changes. 3 most prominent movements are: farmers emulating at well production; solidarity together to eliminate hunger and alleviate poverty; building cultural life, national defense, security and united movement to support for construction of rural infrastructure. According to a report of Provincial Farmers Association, in 2006 all levels of Association hold 10.452 propagandas with total 516.580 terms of members attended; develop more 11.241 members (got 112.4%) raise total members of the whole province to 217.718 people with 159 divisions.  There are 134.408 households registered to emulate at well business and 61.452 households got title of excellent production at level 3. Through movement of excellent farmers, Farmer Association mobilizes 525 million for fund of supporting farmers, cooperates to bank of rural development in order to help 49.169 households in 971 billion of loaning and 11.286 households in 91 billion to do business through entrusted capital of Bank of Social Policies. Association Parts help farmers to buy 3.762 ton of fertilizer; 80 agricultural machines; 3.185 bottle of plant conversation that is valid for 18 billion according to slow payment. From those achievements, Farmer Association helps 3.950 poor households to rise for stable life. Farmers Association of Districts and Cities opens 16 training classes for 1.598 key executives, cooperate to organizations for training, transfer technology to 71.344 terms of executives, members as farmers and hold 31 training classes of industrial sewing, household electricity and veterinary skills for 1.587 members.

Especially, from the beginning of year to now, all levels of Farmer Association introduced Party 584 fair members to improve them to faithful force and 185 cadres admitted to Party. Movement of building cultural life, national security got positive changes. Association Parts mobilize farmers for attending to united movement to build cultural life that includes 197.143 families registered ‘cultural family’ and 162.832 families recognized; cooperate to 138 Steering Board of Provincial Association to hold seminars in 11 districts and cities for 720 executives. Besides, the association also deploys No 09-NQ/C Resolution, National Program of Crime Prevention, 9 classes of traffic safety; cooperate to Provincial Viet Nam Fatherland Front to mobilize 27 billion, 66.177 workdays of bridge and street fixing, channel dredging etc, build 1.049 houses of gratitude, support 2.850 million, 16.117 kilos of food, 5.917 all kinds of breeding animal, loan 2.928 farming households without interest… However, Farmers Association has still not planned strategic development of plant, livestock that has economic high value, breaking properties, long lasting, consistent, and without many effective models of business multiplied. This is the most difficult problems existed during many years that all levels of local or central Farmers Association has not overcome yet      

In 2007, to do successfully Provincial Party Committee’s Resolution, soc-economic missions, and Central Committee’s Resolutions of Vietnamese Farmer Association, Steering Board of Provincial Farmers Association implements decisively 12 targets proposed to ensure 100 percent of executives and 80 percent of members to be understood and grasped thoroughly Party’s Policies, Law of Government and Association; train and improve 1.000 Association’s Executives; well implement propagandizing and mobilizing to gather farmers into Association; admit 10.000 members so that there are over 95 percent of farming households had members and 80 percent of farmers within age to enter Association at the end of year, include 80 percent of often members and 40 percent of key force; succeed in eliminating hunger and alleviating poverty tasks; organize vocational classes; cooperate to build high-productivity clubs based to cooperatives’ establishment; launch members positively responded in movement for united whole people to build cultural life; be active in connection to 4 houses to support members as farmers.
