Vietnam Association of AO Victims has a working session with Dong Nai

On late afternoon of August 12, the delegation of Vietnam Association of AO Victims led by Vice-Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong had a working session with Huynh Thi Nga, Vice-Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee.

At the working session, Vice-Chairwoman of Vietnam Association of AO Victims Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong said that the sponsoring organization in Australia would come to Vietnam to provide free-of-charge medical test on AO victims. This kind of drug is being used to neutralize severe cases of intoxication. Bien Hoa City is considered as one of “hot spots” with high contamination of dioxin in Vietnam. So the city is selected to test the effectiveness of this medicine.

Vice-Chairwoman Huynh Thi Nga also expressed her warmest thanks to the attention of Vietnam Association of AO Victims for Dong Nai province. Then the Provincial People’s Committee suggested that Dong Nai Association of AO Victims, and Dong Nai Department of Public Health should join hands with Vietnam Association of AO Victims to carry out this dioxin detoxication program.
