Operation of Categorizing Waste Disposal at the Source Kicks off

Urban Environment Company instructs how to categorize wastes at their sources

    Currently disposal landfill is just contemporary solution. Long-termed strategy falls in wastes category at the source, which many countries have been applied. Accordingly, each family will be offered two rubbish bins – one green and another grey – and 120 plastic bags. The green one is used to contain food diposals such as residual foods, fruits peels, and son on which is then used produce organic fertilizers. The grey is for solid wastes such as plastic bags, tins and; bottles recycled to make plastic buckets and packing, etc.

    According to statistical data, with present population of over 600 people, Bien Hoa city releases 400 tons of wastes every day. While it has only one disposal landfill in Trang Dai ward. Therefore, wastes category at the source is practical demand which help to rise recycling possibilities, reduce areas of the landfill and cost of waste processing as well as minimize environmental pollutions.
