According to Mr. Pham Chuong, Director of DPO, DPO in co-ordination with VDC has developed internet service in entire province as to serve diversified needs of people from all walks of life. At present, there are 12,000 VNN internet subscribers, 1.200 ADSL subscribers and it has established 76 public internet access stations for 76 of 89 communes in province. In 2005, it targets to install 1000 stations for cultural post office in communes and 5 0% of all junior high school in province. The aim of this inter festival is to create favourable conditions and encourage different matches of people to apply information and technology to production, research, study and entertainment.
During 3 days of festival (from April 22nd to April 24th, 2005), everybody has a chance to use internet and international and interprovincial telephone services fee of charge; joining internet knowledge contest; attending seminars and courses on internet such as web design, basic knowledge on internet, how to use internet phone...etc. On this occasion, the official website of GOP at www.donapt.com.vn has been launched .
