Dong Nai checks and examines 1,047 administrative procedures

On April 20 morning, Dong Nai held a conference to reveal results of check and examination of province, district, and commune level administrative procedures. Chairperson of the provincial Committee Vo Van Mot presided over the conference.

To implement Prime Minister’s project no. 30 on administrative procedure simplification of state administration and carry out plan no. 66421 dated August 18, 2009 of the provincial People’s Committee, on the basis of 21 sets of three-level administrative procedures (province, district and commune) announced by the provincial People’s committee, province-level departments, branches, sectors, Bien Hoa city and Hoa An People’s Committee carried out checking and examining them, 502 of which have been suggested to maintain; 905 of which have been suggested to simplify, exceeding 34.32% of the target. 

 During process of administrative procedure check and simplification, units including Department of Trade and Industry, Management Board of Industrial Parks, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Health, Department of Internal Affairs, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Informatics and Communications, Department of External Affairs, Department of Judiciary, Department of Plan and Investment, Department of Labors, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Hoa An commune People’s Committee have been active in their deployment.      

 Addressing the conference, the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot confirms that achievements in administrative procedure check have shown efforts of levels, branches and entire civil service employees. However, in implementation process, some units have deployed slowly, not meeting demands on quantity and quality. The Chairman also requested that, in the coming time, departments, branches, sectors and localities should be initiative in cooperation with assignment staff to implement the project 30, at once deploy implementation of the provincial People’s Committee’s decision to approve simplification of administrative procedures in the province, boost dissemination and announcement of the administrative procedures for people and businesses to know, update administrative procedures that have not been calculated yet or newly modified and passed, overcome tardiness in dealing with administrative procedures, and ensure the most advantages for people and businesses.
