The Evening Music Show “For Children’s Heart” Raised Over Vnd3 Billion To Support Operation For Chidrens With Heart Disease.

The music show was held with the aim at calling for people’s support to raise fund for difficult children and help children with inborn heart disease for surgeries. The program has got enthusiastic support by many individuals, organizations with over VND3,115 million. This sum of money was used to assist surgery expenditure of children with heart disease in Dongnai Province.

As reported, over the last years, the Children Sponsoring Fund of Dongnai province supported 689 children with heart disease for surgeries with billions of VND. In 2007,

 there were 260 children had heart operation costing $2,700 (VND 50 million) per an operation. The number of children having heart operation by expense covered by the Fund has not been much. Therefore, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs collaborated with functional departments to boost popularization and raise money to the Fund with the aim of helping children with heart disease have good health and normal daily activity.
