Dong Nai celebrates 60th anniversary of President Ho’s appeal for patriotic emulation

Mr. Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee launched the emulation movement at the ceremony to mark the 60th anniversary of President Ho's appeal for patriotic emulation (June 11) held in Dong Nai on June 14. Mot called on agencies and people to focus on socio-economic development tasks set for 2008, with a special focus on curbing inflation, ensuring social welfare and sustainable economic growth.

        Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Vo Van Mot said that the celebration of the 60th anniversary of President Ho's appeal for patriotic emulation takes place at a time when the people of the province are are actively implementing the resolution of the 10th National Party Congress and resolution of the 8th Congress of the Party Committee of Dong Nai province. This is also a chance to promote the implementation of the “studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples” movement, and to enhance local authority and people’s awareness of the importance of the patriotic emulation movement. Mot also called for making excellent achievements to mark the 310th founding anniversary of Bien Hoa- Dong Nai.

        The ceremony also honored 30 individuals and 30 organizations for their excellent achievements and outstanding contribution to the provinces development.
