216 poor children offered free medical check-ups

On August 14, the delegation of voluntary doctors in Ho Chi Minh City joined hands with Dong Nai Children Sponsor Fund and the Office of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Cam My district to provide free medical check-ups for 216 poor children in the district. The total cost of the activity is expected at about VND16 million.

As for the program titled “Gift of light for children”, on August 9, with the support from the Vietnam Children Sponsor Fund, Ho Chi Minh City Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients, and Dong Nai Children Sponsor Fund, 47 poor children received free eye operations in Ho Chi Minh City Eye Hospital with the cost of VND1-3 million each child.
