As reported by Department of Industry and Trade, total retail of commodities and services in Oct. 2011 represents VND6,591 bil, up 3% compared with previous month, accumulating VND57,685 bil in ten months, up 35% over the same period, hitting 84% of the year target.

In comparison with the previous month, hotel-restaurant increases by 3.6%; commerce 2.9%; services 3.7%; travel and tourism 3%. Corresponding to the same period, services rise to the top with 26.5% increase; followed by commerce 25%; tourism 24% and hotel-restaurant 22.5% at the bottom.
