On the morning of June 29, Dong Nai Labor Federation held a summation meeting about the 2005-2009 emulation movement, “A good working woman, a good housewife" among Dong Nai women workers and civil servants.

Awards are being given to exemplary women

    Through labor and production activities, the movement, “A good working woman, a good housewife”, has made contributions to enhancing women’s solidarity, dynamism and creativity. Many of them have overcome difficulties, attempted to study and improve their knowledge, language levels and professional skills and fulfilled given tasks. Over the past five years, 158,000 lots of women laborers have won the title, “A good laborer”; more than 140,500 lots of women employees of non-state businesses have been graded “A” in production and more than 18,000 women workers have been recognized as grassroots-level emulation fighters. Not only are they good workers, but they are also good mothers and wives. They always manage to overcome difficulties and complete tasks at work and housework. They also play important roles in building happy families. Currently, there are 106,983 women worker families recognized as “Cultural Family”.

    At the summation meeting, forty four collectives and three individuals were honored to receive the certificates of merit from the General Labor Confederation; nineteen collectives and forty five individuals were awarded the certificates of merit by Dong Nai People’s Committee; twenty eight collectives and eighty six individuals got rewards from Dong Nai Labor Federation.
