According to Department of Planning and Investment’s report from early 2010 to September 20, 2010, the total investment capital of both new projects and current projects reaches US$805.3 million, representing 53.7 percent according to annual plan targets, up 5.1 percent over the same period.

Investment certificate-awarding ceremony

 Particularly, there are 31 newly-licensed projects with a registered capital of US$65.3 million and 60 licenses for capital-increase projects valued US$740 million.

Total investment capital of newly-licensed and current projects over the past nine months is estimated at US$610 million, accounting for 40.7 percent according to annual plan targets, up 52.5 percent over the same period.

The cumulative total of projects until May 26, 2010 is 978 with a registered capital of US$17.72 billion.

Up to now, Dong Nai has 1,007 valid investment certificates valued US$18.5 billion.

So far, 30 industrial parks have been built on a total area of 9,573.8 hectares including 6,338 hectares for lease.

3,719.5 hectares have been leased, accounting for 58.7 percent of the total area for lease.

In terms of foreign investment attraction, the total investment capital in the country in the form of investment certificates for the past nine months hits VND28.5 trillion (US$1.46 billion), up 14 percent compared to plan targets, equivalent to 55.3 percent over the same period.

The cumulative total of investment certificates until September 20, 2010 is 251 with a registered capital of VND135.66 trillion (US$6.97 billion).
